A second-generation family real estate company
We’re a diversified and talented staff of professionals who have tremendous experience in attending to our clients needs, and we employ our own maintenance and construction teams to work on all our properties. The family business, comprised of the founder, George Rothman, the President, Stu Rothman, and the VP of Operations.

George Rothman
In Memoriam
Founder
George founded Stu-Lin Realty in 1966, naming it after his two children, Linda and Stuart. George started investing in real estate while also running a successful retail establishment, Central Square Hardware in Cambridge. After building a substantial real estate portfolio, George transitioned out of retail into full time real estate management. Self taught and highly motivated, George Rothman built one of the largest wholly owned real estate management companies in Cambridge.
Stuart Rothman
President
Stuart has a BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and University of New Hampshire, respectively, an Executive MBA from Northeastern University, and Advanced Certificate in Finance from Suffolk University. Stu’s main focus is on debt capital markets, property acquisitions, zoning and permitting related to new construction, contract negotiations with major vendors, commercial lease negotiations, insurance, and tax planning.
Lewis Robert
VP Operations
Lewis has a BS in Journalism and Marketing from the University of Florida. Lewis started with the company in 1993. Prior experience included several years as a marketing and sales consultant in the industrial marketplace. Lewis has had several jobs within First Cambridge Realty, including Property Manager, Chief of Operations overseeing all labor and employment related matters, and as a Development Coordinator supervising all residential rehab and reuse work.
Ben Deb
Chief Financial Officer
Ben joined First Cambridge Realty in 2017 and has since been an integral part of the leadership group. His areas of focus range from overall accounting and financial management of the company to new construction, development and acquisitions. Ben also oversees leasing and operating functions of the company. He has a MBA from University of Newcastle, Australia.
Steve Merlino
Comptroller
Steve is a graduate of Skidmore College where he majored in Business. Steve brings over 30 years of Accounting experience to First Cambridge Realty, with a strong background in multi-unit reporting. Steve has worked in a variety of industries throughout his career and has over 10 years’ experience in a similar Real Estate environment.
Our Leasing Team
John O’Brien
Leasing Coordinator and Brokerage Consultant
John has been employed with First Cambridge Realty since 1996. John is a graduate of Northeastern University and has completed coursework in real estate finance at Boston University. John is a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Broker and is also an assistant baseball coach at Suffolk University.
Our Property Management Team
Steven Leonard
Property Manager
Steven has been with First Cambridge Realty since 1995, starting as an Assistant Property Manager. Steven is involved with all aspects of leasing, and property management. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson, and received his BS in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University where he played baseball. He continues to further his education by taking class through the National Association of Building Owners and Managers.
Ralph Barone
Property Manager
Has been employed with First Cambridge Realty since 1999 minus a three year absence from 2003-2006 where Ralph was teaching in upstate New York. Ralph has Master’s of Education degree from Cambridge College and completed his undergraduate studies at Northeastern University and Ralph has most recently been inducted into the Northeastern University Athletic Hall of Fame for his career as quarterback of the Huskies football team.

Leah Lamb
Accounting Specialist
Leah has been employed with First Cambridge Realty Corp. since 1993. Leah is in charge of all accounts and tenant relations. Leah studied accounting and business at Newbury College.
Karen Brouady
Accounting Specialist
Karen has been an employee of First Cambridge Realty since 1994. Karen is in charge of all aspects of bill payment, vendor relations, tax reporting and shares general bookkeeping and tenant relations. Karen has a BA in American Studies and a minor certificate in Legal Studies from Brandeis University, and she is also is an accomplished oboist, playing with the Arlington Philharmonic.
Belinda McMillian
Accounting Assistant
Belinda has been employed with First Cambridge Realty since August of 2000. In addition, Belinda has a degree from Bay State College in Accounting and studied Administrative Services at Lesley College.
Jennifer Heinen
Assistant to President
Jennifer has BA in Biology from UMASS and years of experience managing businesses – she is directly responsible for all commercial properties in Lexington and Falmouth MA
